During the period between April 24th 2017 and April 30th 2017 members of the GRPD handled 302 calls for service, the highlights of which included:

04-24-2017

10:30 AM –  A Forest Road resident reported receiving an ATM card in the mail from a bank that she does not have an account with.  The bank subsequently informed her that an unknown party had opened the account using her social security number.  The detective bureau is following up on the matter with the bank.

04-25-2017

3:07 PM –  A business on Harristown Road reported that a fraudulent check in the amount of $ 2,367 was cashed against their account.  The detective bureau is following up with the bank.

04-28-2017

4:23 PM –  A 26-year-old Paterson woman, formerly of Glen Rock, was detained by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department on a no bail arrest warrant issued by the Glen Rock Municipal Court.  The defendant was turned over to the custody of P.O. Lucas Doney and P.O. Nicholas Onove who transported her to the Bergen County Jail.

04-29-2017

12:50 AM– During the course of a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Avenue, P.O. John Tarantino arrested the driver for possession of a bundle (10 bags) of heroin and drug paraphernalia.  The driver, a 30-year-old Kinnelon man, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while in possession of narcotics, careless driving and improper display of license plates.  He was released on his own recognizance pending an appearance before the Superior Court Central Judicial Processing in Hackensack on May 12th, 2017.
